Paige Simpson Hammer, 47, of Boulder, Colorado passed away from pancreatic cancer on September 13, 2017. Paige was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 21, 1970 to Martin and Ronnie Hammer. Paige earned a BA from Denison University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. Paige loved life. She brought her big heart and fierce strength to all the many, many things she did: running a business, saving elephants, raising her family. Her loyalty, compassion and forgiveness touched many hearts. A fighter to the end, she advanced the science of her disease in a relentless pursuit of a cure. She was determined to spend every possible moment with the friends and family she loved so much. The world is a better place because of her. We love her very much. Paige and Shelly Cadora were married on February 19, 2014 in New York City. Paige is survived by her spouse, Shelly Cadora; parents, Martin and Ronnie Hammer children, Sterling Hammer-Cadora and Harper Hammer-Cadora; siblings, Bradford Hammer, Preston Hammer and Blaine Hammer; and Steven Kasapi, Raymond Flournoy, Romeo and many many friends. A private family service was held on September 14. There will be a memorial service that is yet to be determined. Contributions may be made to Big Life Foundation.
